Tim Atkin Prados Fusión 2022 - 91 puntos

Bodem and Pagos del Moncayo wines shine in Tim Atkin’s 2025 report

Receiving praise from a respected international critic like Tim Atkin MW is always something to celebrate. But when four of your wines are featured in his latest Discover Spain 2025 report, the excitement hits differently.

From Cariñena to Campo de Borja, our wines have earned scores of 90 and 91 points, validating our long-standing commitment to sustainability, vineyard care, and wines with a real sense of place.

Four wines, one philosophy

The wines featured in this year’s report are:

  • Oxte Tinto 2024 – 90 points

  • Las Margas Tinto 2024 – 90 points

  • Las Margas Blanco 2023 – 90 points

  • Prados Fusión 2022 – 91 points

Each wine tells a different story, but all share the same philosophy: honest winemaking, respectful farming, and a deep connection to the land.

Oxte Tinto 2024: young, juicy and down-to-earth

Oxte is our answer to what a modern Garnacha should taste like: vibrant fruit, smooth tannins, and enough freshness to make it hard to resist.

Tim Atkin awarded it 90 points, praising its balance and approachability. Grown and made at our Bodem Bodegas winery in the heart of the Cariñena region, this wine proves you don’t need to spend much to buy wine online that delivers both quality and character.

And behind that fruit-forward style is a deeper commitment: Oxte is produced using regenerative viticulture and certified sustainable practices. A wine that feels good in every way.

Las Margas Tinto 2024: Garnacha with altitude

Also scoring 90 points, Las Margas Tinto is made from Garnacha vines planted on high-altitude, stony soils. The result? A red wine full of freshness, minerality, and spice.

It’s a wine that reflects our landscape—rugged, sun-drenched, and wild. This vintage in particular has a lovely balance between ripeness and precision, ideal for those seeking the best Spanish wines with a clear sense of place.

Las Margas Blanco 2023: bright, textured and honest

With another 90-point score, Las Margas Blanco is living proof that white wines from inland Spain can be fresh, expressive, and even a little salty.

Made mostly from Garnacha Blanca, this wine surprises with its crisp acidity, citrus aromas, and silky mouthfeel. It’s the kind of bottle that quietly steals the show—perfect for seafood, vegetables, or sipping on a warm evening.

Like its red sibling, it comes from a vineyard where regenerative agriculture is practiced daily, encouraging biodiversity and long-term vineyard health.

Prados Fusión 2022: bold and elegant from Campo de Borja

The highest score among our wines goes to Prados Fusión 2022, with an excellent 91 points. Made at our Pagos del Moncayo winery in Campo de Borja, this red blends Garnacha and Syrah, combining power with balance.

Harvested by hand, fermented with traditional foot-stomping, and aged carefully, this wine captures the heart of Aragón’s winemaking heritage. Atkin described it as powerful yet refined, and we couldn’t agree more.

Looking to buy a great red wine online? This one delivers complexity, depth, and something truly special in the glass.

More than scores—it’s about doing things right

These ratings mean a lot to us—not just because they come from one of the most respected voices in wine, but because they acknowledge our everyday work: protecting the land, crafting wines that speak of their origin, and making sustainability a real part of the process.

We’re not chasing trophies—we’re building trust. Every bottle we make is meant to be shared, enjoyed, and remembered.
